Shots Fired in River Park Drive By

Residents heard what they thought were firecrackers go off around noon today near the intersection of River Park Drive and Thames Drive.  Those fireworks actually turned out to be gunshots fired in the general direction of the corner lot located at 1553 Thames drive.   According to witnesses a vehicle approached the property from River Park drive and fired 8 or 9 shots at the property.   Bullet holes were found in the trees and vehicles in the front of the residence.  The car proceeded up Thames drive where it made a u-turn at Bal Harbor drive and exited the neighborhood along the same route it entered.

Shots Fired At Car In Lexington, Police Looking For Suspects

Lexington police are searching for two young men they say shot at a car Sunday afternoon. The call came in just after 12:30 p.m. from River Park Drive.

Police say two men in a black car shot another car’s tire. Officers found shell casings and a bullet at the scene.
